any insight?From: kami (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Sep 2 17:01:22 2004
Hi ladies. Hope you all are doing well today. I had a quick question. I just had my second laparotomy in under 2 years this past Friday. Went in emergency for it because they found on ultrasound that my left ovary was in torsion. Anyway, they got in there and I had 2 endometriomas between 8-10cm large and I was bleeding from my ovaries and uterus. The bowel was all wrapped up in there too. Now my doc wants me to go to a gyno endocrinologist to see what he can do. I've tried the lupron, the bcps make my body go crazy with extreme blood pressures and I just keep forming these huge masses. These past two taken out grew in around a year, because the first year after surgery I was on bcps and lupron. Have any of you gone to an endocrinologist and if so what have they been able to do for you? He's an infertility specialist too, but I was told most likely, by the condition of my ovaries now, I will never have children at 27. Any insight would be appreciated on what to expect from this kind of doctor. Thank you, ladies...
