I didn't ask my doctor what the chances of getting pregnant on the shot were but apparently thereis a pretty good chance because he said "whatever you do, don't get pregnant while youre on this shot. use a condom and gel whenever you have sex." I hope that this has been helpful. I also don't like condoms so I just use the spermicidal gel instead of both. Heather
