Although I've been reading the site for several months, I'm still kinda new at posting, so I'm sorry if this has been asked recently. I'm not sure exactly how to word this, but does anyone know the actual percentage for risk of pregnancy while on Lupron? Like, is there a 25% risk of becoming pregnant if not using protection, etc? I just took my first shot this past Friday after also having my first lap. I hate to say this, after reading a lot of the forums and seeing that most people feel the opposite, but I'm 23, newly married and recently diagnosed, and my husband and I aren't ready for children. I'd prefer not to use condoms (just personal preference), but even though my doctor said withdrawal or spermicide would probably be sufficient, I don't want to take unneccesary risks just to..."enjoy"... myself by not using condoms. I've read that the risks of getting pregnant are minimal, but I'd rather hear a more definite number than that broad of a term. Didn't know if anyone out there knew..... Thanks for the info!!
