I need some Advice

It's me again. I finally met with the Endo specialist and she was great, but I found out some news that didn't really go over well. She found a cyst in my right ovary that is a little bigger than a quarter and definately suspects that I have endo. Also there is blood in my stool and there is a possibility that the endo has spread into my colon/rectum. So she wants to refer me to another doctor to have a colonoscopy done and find out what is going on and schedule a lap. I must admit I am really nervous. Has anyone had this happen to them? What did you do? What can I do? I know I have to go see this other doctor, but it seems like my family (especially my mother) is more concerned with their own personal matters. I feel really scared and a bit unsupported it really hurt me that all my mother could say over the phone was she's sorry and she's off to texas to see her boyfriend. It seems like the drama never ends. I am also trying to figure out how I am going to do all this around my school schedule and all my other demands. I just don't have the strength. Atleast I know I am in good hands as far as my doctor is concerned and I am loosing the old gyno. But I just don't know what this means for me. Not to mention I am still in pain from all the poking and proding and the ultrasound. I need some advice and/or some consolation. Thanks for listening Tiana
