Re: Endometriosis and fatigue

I don't mean to be a bearer of bad news, but yes it all seems to go together, Have had it 20 years & amazing the amount of problems that kept adding on thru the years-one day I wrote them all down & about 15 symptoms! Most of 2003 was spent in bed- so very tired- won't bore you with the long list, but chronic fatigue, bloating, frequent yeast infections....is part of it all. My Naturopath Dr. treats it as an autoimmune problem. The list of everything I take for it is very long, but here is a site for more info on autoimmune: Remedies/endometriosis/endo_news-endo-linked-to-autoimmune-sep-2002.htm In my opinion, removing the endo with a lap or taking hormones, having a hysterectomy....for some of us will not cure everything, the body has to be treated as a whole, detox, repair & build up the immune system(herbs, vitamins, amino acids...) This is what a naturopath dr. does. A very informative book is "endometriosis-a key to healing through nutrition" One more thing I wanted to add here is about the way I would always bruise so easily(purple bruises)is it this way with you also? a symptom of nutrition deficiency or a weak immune system. This symptom has finally gone away, I now get faint yellow bruises. Finally feeling good & want others to know about alternative treatments. Lori
