Jennifer, I have gained 30 pounds from the 3month Lupron shots and also have water retention, even 6 months after it wore off. I am taking Lasix for the water, and it is helping. Unfortunately, I cannot lose the weight. I have tried the low carb diets, eating lettuce twice a day and not much else, exercise, everything. What can I say? I thought I was the only one out there who'd gained significant weight on it and had edema, but I guess not. Good luck to you and feel free to email me to talk more privately. I did get "aunt flo" back, with a vengeance. It's worse than before the Lupron...but I think I have heard it can be 3-6 months after the final shot before it kicks in again. Also, could the weight gain have an impact on your menstruation? >
