Tiana, I am a grad student (part-time) and work fulltime. I had a lap last year and missed the end of spring semester because it was do it then or wait an additional 6 weeks because of my dr's scheduled vacation. One of my profs was really great about everything, the other gave me a hard time and was like "can't you postpone your surgery til after the semester ends?" I just stuck with my plan and did what I had to do. Your health is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. I am wondering if the ADA doesn't cover your endo? I mean, if you have to have the insurance, can you sign up for the 12 credits, but make sure that there's a documented medical note in your file re: the endo and ask your professors for reasonable and customary adjustments??? I don't know if it will work for college or not, but that would be what I would check into.

Good luck to you. It's hard. Don't give up on your dreams or on your education, but remember without your health, all else is pretty much lost. I hope the best for you, take care of yourself.
