There are only four stages of endo, not five and the only way you can be staged is by the doctor who performed your surgery. Some doctors choose not to stage the endo because there really is no reason to stage it. The stages are based on a point system. The stage has little to do with the amount of pain that you feel or your ability to have a child. Many women with stage i endo have severe pain while many women with stage iv endo have no pain. Many women with stage i endo cannot get pregnant while many women with stage iv endo can. Basically, the deeper the endo and the more widespread it is, the higher your stage. If your doctor didn't tell you or your parents your stage, he may not have staged it. You, or your parents since you are under 18, should be able to call your doctor's office and find out.
