I always thought the pill was a terrible thing also...but then my doc gave me nuva ring ...this is an extremely low dose vagingal ring, that gets absorbed into the uterus, and it doesn't have any terrible mood swings, bloating, it has taken all of my endo pain away..I wear it continuously for four weeks, and then put another ring in and never have a period. but since it gets absorbed directly into the uterus, it doen't have any of the negative side effects...I do not believe in bc. but surprisingly I LOVE this. I had trouble conceiving bothour children, and I am not too sure I want to go through the whole ordeal again, nbut this ring kind of solves everything the pain is gone, and I don't have to worry too much if my diaphram is positioned correctly...but I do not know how old your daughter is but it does require some comfortableness with anatomy. but if she can put ina tampon she should be fine.
