Another failed IVFFrom: Drew (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Mar 22 22:11:18 2004
Hello all, I have Stage 3 Endo on my left ovary, and I recently went for a frozen embryo transfer (my third time), once again I have good quality embroyos with advanced growth, sufficient endometrial lining and everything else (hormone-wise) was perfect, both embryos failed to implant - my lining is still currently intact but no pregnancy hormone has been detected. I am absolutely heartbroken as I don't know what to do next. Keep trying again and again?? My clinic didn't seem to be too concerned about the fact that I failed to have implantation for the third time, shouldn't they be doing some tests on me??? I heard of implantation failure due to various antibodies associated with Endometriosis, but unfortunately I don't think my clinic have such technology or knowledge, because the clinic keeps telling me the reason why IVF don't work is because it depends on the statistics of success (25%). I am frustrated because it seems healthy embroyos enter me and don't survive. Thanks for listening.
