Re: Back pain anyone?From: Olivia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Mar 15 21:35:29 2004
Hi Liza, I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone in the back pain department. I am having severe lower back pain right now as I type this. This has always been the case for me. I do have pain in my abdomen too...but most of my suffering comes from the back pain. I use a heating pad every night...it's the only way that I can fall asleep. At my last surgery (last August)...my right ovary was found to be adhered to the posterior cul-de-sac and I had a lot of implants in that area too. I've been told and have read that cul-de-sac endo/adhesions are notorious for causing back pain. The cul-de-sac area is the little space between the back of your uterus and rectal area. My back pain got a little better after surgery...but now has come back with a vengence!!!! The pain is usually just a intense burning, pulling, nagging, nauseating type of pain.....does this sound anything like your pain? Well...I best be on my way....please feel free to e-mail me anytime...as it sounds like we have a lot in common. Take care and I hope the pain behaves itself. Luv, Olivia
