If you have never had children and are planning on having this procedure please get tested for Strep B Bacteria > I am so sorry to hear about your situation. I am 32 years old and have been diagnosed with Endometriosis since the age of 16. I had a hysterectomy Feb 2003. I was blessed with two children. I wanted more but, I know I should be happy I had at least two children. Seriously think about what you want. I see you already had the Abliation. If you don't want children have the hysterectomy. I've been pain free since the surgery just over a year ago. I have never been pain free like this before. I had tried all the drugs and laparoscopies I could have. But, I found a wonderful female obgyn and decided to have the hystercotomy. I did hear from a lot of doctors telling me I was to young for a hysterectomy. Well, they are wrong. Your quality of life is what should help you make your decision. Not, your age. Well good luck! I hope I could help you out a little.
