Re: appendix removed during lap

Hi! I also had my appendix taken out, but during my first lap. I was told that it would take a little longer to recover since having extra taken out. It took me about a week-two weeks to recover, however it took about a month to get all the gas out!! I think that my dr. did the endo removal, and then 45 minutes later she had gotten another dr. to take out the appendix. So I think they pumped me full of that gas twice?? I only weigh 110, but when I came out of there I looked pregnant!!! The gas was the worst part for me. As for your other question, I'm not really sure. I've heard of people having surgery every year. Hope you feel better soon!
