I have had one Laproscopy, Lupron Depo, Depo Provera, numerous BCP's and tons of narcotics and anti-inflammatories, also just had a complete hysterectomy and it's back. The best thing to tell your husband is to read. Try getting him to read some of the posts here. My father explains it as just like cancer except not fatal. There is a great book called The Endometriosis Source Book by Mary Lou Ballweg. It has lots of things in there that would help a man relate and understand Endometriosis a little better.
