James Responds to AllFrom: James (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Dec 15 11:28:38 1999
I would like to thank everyone for the support and prayers that have been offered so obundantly. We are following many of the leads that your responses have generated. For all the women and men out there who are effected by Endo I would like to offer my heartfelt support and my ear. If any of you need anything please don't hesitate to write me at "mathis540@amaze.net". One more note for the women who have been told that you can not bear children; We were married in May 1990, in December of that year we were told that my wife had Endo and would need a historectomy within the week (from only a physical exam). That evening, after many tears, I convinced my wife to go see a specialist. I carried her the next week and "we" were pregnate in June 1991. So much for the "average" medical professional. We were told AGAIN in 1996 that we COULD NOT have any more children and our second son was born in August of 1997. We now have two healthy sons... and I mean 100% BOYS. So, hang in there and most importantly HANG TOGETHER !! And for the husbands and boyfriends please remember that you are 50% of the solution OR you are 50% of the problem ! Thank you again and Happy Holidays, James
