I also have renal cysts and they were checked on an ultra sound and i believe because cysts have clear fluid and endometriomas are full of blood,this would make them more dense when they were viewed.Renal cysts are not uncommon and are usually harmless,i have one and it hasn't caused me any trouble. I hope this answers your question.
