Re: ultrasounds

Just butting in a bit, but it also depends on the skill of the technician. When I had my vaginal ultrasound in June, the technician who did it could tell the endometrioma from the cysts, but he also had dealt with endo because his wife had it. Endometriomas are described as complex, with septations.. or divisions. My gyn at the time did not believe it, but we all know the rest of the story. :-) Love, Lisa

<< DD Actually, endometriomas dont always show up on ultrasounds. My sister had several and none of them ever showed up. Endo wont show up. What a weird disease, huh? Good luck! *hugs* Monica >>
