The difference between eclampsia and pre-eclampsia

Hi ladies!!

I just got my second question about the difference between eclampsia and pre-eclampsia. Here is the answer from Dr. Marchbein of the Women's Health forum below:

Pre-eclampsia doesn't have seizures, eclampsia does.

Now, I hope that this kind of a challenge doesn't occur again.

If anyone else would like to know if there's a question in the archives of the Women's Health forum as to the cause of eclampsia go to: http://www.obgyn.net/women/women.htm and then go down to where it says "forums".

You will see it listed this way:

Endo@obgyn.net Women's Health Q & A

Just click on the second choice and then search the archives of that forum.

I hope that this is of more help to everyone.

It's the little things that count with all of us ladies: flowers, candy, finding a good ob/gyn who will truly listen to us, and finding a cure for endometriosis.
