Re: Question on Hormone Replacement TherapyFrom: Suzy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Dec 31 11:31:01 1999
Stacey, First off I would like to say welcome to the group, I am sure that you will like it here. Thanks for the info on estrogen, I will discuss it with my doctor when I go in for my pre-op appointment. Love and hugs, Suzy From: anonymous@obgyn.net Reply-To: anonymous@obgyn.net To: Multiple recipients of list ENDO <anonymous@obgyn.net> Subject: Re: Question on Hormone Replacement Therapy Date: Fri, 31 Dec 1999 11:13:17 -0600 Hello, I am new to this group. I have had stage 4 endo for about 18 years. When I had my remaining ovary taken out, I was put on estrogen right in the recovery room. I have now since regretted it. I wish I would have waited about 6 months to let any micro endo die off. (I had my remaining ovary taken out about 3 years ago) I have been in daily pain since about 3 months after that surgery. I now have bowel endo, and massive adhesions. I see a pain doc and am on MS Contin. I would discuss it with your doc and see what he/she says. Good luck, Stacey
