Re: 1 gross question & 1 dumb question (To Elaine)

Dear Elaine,

I have not seen any actual photos of endo, but I can respond to your other question. Before I had surgery for severe endo, I would have painful BMs. Sometimes my behind would be sore afterwards. Since I didn't know that I had endo w/cysts at the time, I just thought that maybe I wasn't eating a diet that was high in fiber. (This was over 8 yrs. ago, before I knew about endo.) Apparently, I had a large cyst that was pressing down near the rectum area. The painful BMs and the soreness went away after the surgery. I remember sometimes seeing a little red (blood), so I figured that it could also be because of hemorroids. I hope I helped some w/your question.

Take care. Linda S
