Lee, Bowel movements were a BIG problem after my surgery--I went 9 days without one! I was taking a stool softener, drinking almost a gallon of water a day and LOTS of juice...I thought I was going to float away! Eventually the doc made me drink Milk of Magnesia YUCK! She didnt want me doing anything that wouldnt be gentle to my system since she worked on my bowel. IT was rough, and the first BM I had caused BLINDING pain, right where the adhesion had attached, but I think its getting better now....I really hope it is at least! Thanks for your advice, Im still drinking alot of water and juice :) *hugs* Monica
