Jan, I have arthritis in my left knee. I got it as a teenager when I was trying play with friends that were a lot younger than me. I now go to a rheumatologist for treatments and he gives me a shot to help with the pain. I don't get it in my knee thank goodness. The last time that I had a cortisone shot in my knee it hurt a whole lot. In fact, I discovered that the cortisone shot hurt me worse than the pain that I was getting the shot for. It was that only time that the Tylenol ever worked for me.
