This posting has me concerned very much as a nurse. first I had saw your posting on Friday the 12th where you said you had been taking Lortab 1 1/2 every hour that your doc had called in for you. Then I saw your posting today where you said you had been out of your meds for 3 days now. My question as a nurse is this....Why are you taking dangerously high doses of Lortab like that and how can you be out SOOO quickly and already be in withdrawals from the med if you just got the pain meds Friday and today is Sunday?? Is it a differant medicine you are having withdrawals from and if you are having withdrawals from meds you have a serious problem. Have you considered maybe seeing a pain specialist? i know there is someone on endo group that sees a pain specialist. I am also a tad confused on some details on your postings maybe you can clarify for me if I misread them. You said on friday you saw your doc, then today you said you called doc but he was out of town. Do you see more than 1 doctor? Also was quite unethical of the er doctor to act like he did but if he knew you had Lortab called in on Friday and you were out of them yesterday they won't give a patient pain meds knowing they have taken so many so quick. You really need to see a specialist cause all this pain meds you are taking is not good for your body and it's getting you nowhere but worse off in more than one way. Feel free to email me anytime for medical questions or such and I read your story on the quilt as I do others and WOW!! that many surgeries and you are same age as me. Well I hope things work for you and you get pain under control soon. Mitzi P.s. how is it 3 days from Friday til sunday? LOL you have taken too many pain pills it seems.
