I'm sooo very frustrated I could almost scream. As you can see I'm up late
tonight. I woke up in pain and my hubby served me toast, tea and juice in
bed. As soon as the toast was down he handed me my pain meds and said
"swallow". I just can't do pain meds on an empty tummy. Then I was okay
for a good while. I took the first pain meds at 8:30 AM and didn't have to
take another round until 5 PM. I was real light on the foods today since I
started out in sooo much pain. You'd think that would have helped. Not so,
by 5:30 I was dealing with very heavy intestinal and bowel pain. My body
just isn't co-operating. I've already listed the surgery as a complete
failure and my darling hubby tells me to stay patient. That I'm just a
little over a week from when surgery happened. It's hard to stay optimistic
when your in pain. The pain tends to lower your tolerance for everything.
Sorry I'm complaining--I'm not sooo upset usually. My body is just now
(almost 5 hours later) calming down from whatever set it off. All I had for
dinner was a pancake and some maple syrup. There's no way that could have
set me off. I'd even been craving it. Well, I'll stay up another half hour
and drink a cup of hot chamomile tea and then I'll be off to bed. If you
want to e-mail me back tonight I should be up at least another half hour.
