yeah Belle...my gyn wouldn't give me anything to sedate me last year and so
i stuck it out and they gave me a cold cloth and it was a good thing it was
my pelvis b/c my head didn't have to go in. the fear gets worse and worse
with each one. the open MRI is the awesomest thing! I am not kidding! and
the place here in maine that has it is the most relaxing office i have been
into for something like that. hardly no noise and i could actually listen to
the radio without those darn head phones! :O) if you ever find out that
there is one nearby and you need one.....get it! you will NOT and I
repeat...will not feel closed it! it is really big and accommodates larger
people that cannot fit into the regular MRI machine...how embarrassing
anyway....glad they came up with it for those people....
