Hey LeAnn,

l hope you are doing ok today.I am sorry your doctor didn't explain your results to you propally but i really think you should call him back and ask him to explain everything to you so you understand better.I can tell you metaplasia is abnormal change in the structure of a tissue.Your doctor is testing you to see if it changes anymore or the tissue stays the same but he needs to explain this to you in more detail.Atypical means not conforming to type.He is just talking medical terminology to you, call him back and ask him to explain. I am sorry i couldn't help you more. Please let us know how you get on. Best Wishes,

Belle.
