Thanks Belle, Since my surgery was at the end of July, I will say that this is an old wound. Maybe you can answer this question for me.. Since it has been 4 months already since the lapartomy, why would I still be continuing to swell so much after being on my feet? I called my doc who did the surgery, and his nurse relayed the message to him. She called me back and said that it was normal and nothing to worry about unless I was in a lot of pain, which I am not. Just some discomfort around my left ovary where I saw a little explosion on my laparotomy video. But I never got an answer as to why that would happen, and my hubby's cousin has got me paranoid now. She says I should have asked why, because it is not normal to be swelling that way.
