Ok, I get it, I think. I know my endo doc that was really good was an M.D. My gyn that first diagnosed me was not though. He had lots of initials after his name, I think something like D.O. F.A.C.O. G. something or other LOL! I hope you are doing well today, and grandma too.. :0) Michele

Osteopathic medicine. The D.O.s combine natural medicine
with Western Medicine. The D.O.s can specialize in the
same areas of medicine such as ob/gyn just like an M.D. I
read a book several years ago about the history of
Osteopathic medicine and it was fantastic. Sorry that I
can't remember the name of the book.
