Stacey: Some of us just have those types of veins. According to the person that drew my blood last it tends to happen more frequently in women. They also advised that when fasting is involved that drinking water helps allow the veins to stay hydrated for when the try and do the blood draw. That way the vein doesn't roll and collapse as easily. I have to say when I've had water it works out better. Oh well, just one of those fun things to deal with. Hope your weekend has been a good one and that you are as pain free as possible. I know you can't wait to have surgery done with. Take care--love to you, Leah S. bobsmountain@compaq.net
