Stace, Hi sweeite. I know you have been feeling lousy and I don't want to preach or offend or try and get you to not do something you may want, BUT, please dont let him take your ovaries. Your the same age as I am are'nt you? (27) You don't want to go through permanent menopause yet. Remember you are the boss, you employ him, I know you love your doc just like I love mine. But if you don't want them out you don't have to have them out. No matter what he says. I dont want to bring you down or sound like I am bashing him or anything, but I know thats not what you want. You've said it alot of times. I wish you did'nt have the cyst problem and the fluid in there, but you do and thatr still does'nt mean you have to have them out. Please if he suggests this, think about it LONG AND HARD before you agree to do it. Get a book on menopause, and read it very closely. I had one a couple of months ago and I do plan on having a hyst, but not complete and i believe you kept your ovaries for a reason. I have had cysts many times and I do know how painful they are, but it does'nt mean you have to have them removed. If you do decide on it, at least have him judge which is best and have him keep the better looking one in. I hope I'm not upsetting you, because thats not why I am doinmg this. I am trying to be a friend and don't want you to make a decision that you will probably regret. I would feel real terrible if you ended up with more problems because of removing them. Ask yourself questions: Is there osteoporosis (sp) in your family? Arthritis? Diabetes? Heart problems? There are alot of things to consider. Well I better go. Please dont be mad. I will try to get my pic to pci page and babies to you. I'll have Matt try and show me again tonight, or over the weekend after we get back from hotel. (his boss is paying for all the guys and their families to go to a hotel and out somewhere on Saturday) Jan -----Original Message----- From: anonymous@obgyn.net <anonymous@obgyn.net> To: Multiple recipients of list ENDO <anonymous@obgyn.net> Date: Wednesday, September 29, 1999 11:10 PM Subject: Re: To Stacy: In tears and alot of pain after doctor's visit!
