Re: Sarah & HystFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netThu Sep 30 02:12:32 1999
The hepatitis is from the immune system-no A, B, or C. My body did this all by itself. This is the one place I can come where someone understands how that one feels. I can't take any type of hormone b/c it elevates the liver enzymes-they go completely off the scale. My pcp did let me try Synarel for a few weeks b/c it bypasses the liver and other organs since it is a nasal spray. Eveytime I used it my hands and feet got numb and alot of other side effects that he felt were just too risky. I have to watch the tylenol amount and can't take nsaids b/c of intestinal bleeding. Lupron and Depo and things like that can cause problems for healthy livers. They are afraid of liver failure. I used depo once about 3 years ago and I blew up to the point that I was miserable and spent over 6 months yellow. I had to take meds to bring the liver profile down and they all caused more intestinal bleeding. My pcp was using darvocet and ultram for pain but he recently went out on his own and I have to wait until Oct. to change my insurance. Sheri
