Thanks, migraines

Hi everybody, I just wanted to thank everyone who wrote and welcomed me to the group. Your support means a lot :-)

Many things are starting to fit together and make some sense to me now. All the times I went to my Dr. complaining of fatigue, nausea and headaches there were no answers, so I just stopped going in the end but I always knew something was wrong.

Even when I told the Dr. who did my Lap (in July) that I thought I had symptoms of endo he brushed me off by saying that I would know if I had it because I would be in a lot of pain during my period. The weird thing is that I do have severe pain at that time but only for 1-2 hours. Otherwise I'm ok. Oh well, don't want to bore you but it has given me some peace of mind to learn from your posts that it is probably all due to the endo.

I noticed a few posts about migraines lately and thought I would share what has worked for me in case it might help someone else. Because of my pcos, a low carbohydrate diet is recommended. Once I cut down my carbs I immediately noticed that my migraines (which were severe and frequent) disappeared. Whenever I slip up and eat a lot of carbs I have another migraine soon after. I have also heard that the herb Feverfew is useful for preventing migraines if taken regularly but I haven't tried this.

Thanks again to everyone and I hope you are all doing ok today. Kim
