Hi Janet
No you most definitely didn not offend me!! It takes MUCH more than
that!! lol I agree with everything you said - completely! If I Was
awake, they'd have to knock me out cause I'd be a Mess! I don't want to
hear the squishy noises and all the talk, you're right. I was awake
when I have surgery for carpal tunnel - that wasn't too bad, but a hyst
is something totally different - and much longer, like you said. My
younger sister years ago had to have a spinal tap done - it was a
horrible experience! They had a real hard time getting the needle in,
you could hear her screaming from one end of the hall to the other. I'd
pretty much decided against the epidural from the beginning, but was
wondering if anyone had gone that route. I wonder about pain control by
epidural - the anaestitist says its much more efficient. But, I keep
telling myself that the post op pain Can't be any worse than what I have
now - and at least it will be pain with a purpose, and with an end in
sight, you know? Sorry this is so long...
How's things with you these days? How's the littlest one? You must be
soooo busy!!! Take care of YOU!
luv and painfree wishes, Amy
