Re: *ggggrrrrrr*From: Bill (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun Sep 26 07:56:30 1999
Hi, I had to jump in on this one. I know how you guys feel because my family doesn't really understand either. First off, my husband is wonderful and very supportive even though my sex drive is, well nonexisting. My parents are a different story though. My mom tries to understand and I think is starting to, but is always saying that something else is causing my problems. If I have cramps she'll say I am stressed out about something or maybe it is something I ate. I keep telling her it is the endo and she is starting to get it. My Dad thinks it will just go away or clear up soon. I told him it won't, that it ins not curable and he said everything will work out. My brother jokingly said I should go to a psychologist which in return I said f+#@ you. Sorry, I am not one to use that word but there are times when it is necessary. My family means well but, like you said, it is hard for people to deal with something that doesn't go away.
