Re: I am back after Surgery/Me too Endo Cysts

Hi Anissa & Lisa B

I'm not long out of surgery from endometrioma cysts on ovaries. One was 13cm big!! more that a gratefruit, the other about 8cm. I had a laparotomy large incision rather that the laparoscopy little incisions. I was so scared I was going to lose both my ovaries and perhapsy have a hysto but as it turned out the doctors were able to remove the cysts and everything is still in tact. I have adhesions and scarring on outside of my uterus, and I'm worried about reoccurrence. Strangely I haven't had the pain that everyone is talking about. Going for surgery and coming out with drips, and morphine and catherter etc, that was some experience - for me - only been in hospital to have my son 11 years ago! Not true - I had my lower leg veins stripped about 5 years ago - but didn't have the morphine etc.

I just checked out Kristy's home page and was most impressed by the lovely butterflies and the details of her story. Poor Kristy now has vulva pain - I can't imagine. I know how thrush can make you itchy and the vulva swells, but pain there must be awful.

I can't believe the amount of messages - 256 today. Must scroll and delete. Subject headings most important.

Bye for now - wishing us all pain free lives. Regards, Annette Katona
