Hi Debbie, I hope everything goes well for you on Tuesday. The health
service in this country is a joke at times. Heres a scary little story
for you. A good friend of mine is currently having a lot of problems
with pelvic pain as well and is under the same gynae clinic as me, at
the same hospital. She went for her last appointment and they asked her
how she was getting along with the treatment they had prescribed her.
She asked them what they were talking about. Turns out that her last
four smear test results have come back abnormal, and they were supposed
to have started her on treatment at her last appointment. It was in her
notes that they HAD started her on treatment. They hadn't even told her
that she'd ever had an abnormal smear test, let alone put her on any
treatment for it. Needless to say, she's not a happy girl. And she's
still being kept waiting for appointments!! I've given her the name of
the doctor in Livingston and also the name of the doctor you gave me
yesterday, so if she doesnt get any joy at her next appointment, shes
going to change. Hope everything is good with you, talk to you soon.
Let me know what happens on Tuesday, okay?
love
