Thanks a tonne, Belle. Unfortunately, things did not go well at the doc's at all. She says she's worried about all the pain meds I'm taking - 50 percocet for a month. She wouldn't give me more of them, and, in fact, gave me Tylenol 3 instead and told me I could only take one every 6 hours - as if!!!! She just did not HEAR me and could not understand that I am in pain EVERY day - and that the percocet just takes the Edge off. I was very very frustrated - but I have an appt with my fam doc on Wed and I know that she will treat me as a human being, and that she understands what I'm going through. The obgyn does not get the concept of taking pain meds for Pain does not lead to addiction. It was awful. Plus, now she is making me go see another obgyn for a second opinion before my hyst - says its an 'unwritten rule' in this city that a 2nd ob has to support giving a hyst to someone under 35.
