Mircette is a very low dose bcp. Unfortunately, after 4 months it proved to not be strong enough for me. I started having bad PMS about a week before my period and I would spot for 14 to 21 days. I had to switch to Desogen. I've been on that for two months now and it seems to be working okay. However, the Mircette might prove to be strong enough for you. Good Luck!
