Michelle in Georgia: Get a copy of your ultrasound report. You have a right to it. You may have to sign a release. Also ask your doctor's office to have the doctor call you about it. Either that or schedule an appointment specifically to discuss it. Usually an ultrasound report will give measurements of the size of the ovary and list a normal size range as well. You need this report for answers. Some of the people who work in doctors offices (please no one take exception to this!) have no training and are simply answering the phone, and may or may not refer the call to someone with more answers due to time constraints. So obtaining the report to see for yourself, review it with your gyn or with your family doc. Hope this helps! Maria
