Re: Lupron injections or hysterectomy

Hi Chloe this is a big decision and not something you should rush into. Do research before you decide. There are benefits to keeping your organs, but the bigger issue is quality of life in my opinion. I'm one for whom the lupron has done nothing for with respect to pain - it has, however, given me all the negative side effects. I had four shots; no more. There are also lots of women out there who've had a lot of success with lupron. If it was me, I'd probably try it, cause you can always stop the injections if they're not working and try other options. It sounds like pain management/quality of life are the big issues here, not fertility, which is the big issue with other women. I don't know if this helps or not, its just my opinion. Feel free to email me here or privately (everyone else too) if you ever want to chat, vent, etc etc luv and luck, Amy
