Stacey, I am so sorry! And now your hubby has a sore throat also?! Mine has not been able to eat at all so he is a grumpy bear! Aw, honey...I know how you feel. The fatigue and emotions are so difficult to get through. Honestly, when you first came home from having your surgery, I couldn't help but be reminded of myself when I came home. You were so cheery and up...and I also recall hoping you didn't hit the same brick wall that I hit two-three weeks down the road. Apparently you have. :( I remember going to the new gyn at five weeks post-op and wanting to know what in the world was wrong with me...I couldn't seem to drag through the day. Even now at 3 months, I am just getting all of my energy back. Still, when we made this move, even though I had lots of help packing and all, I worked for about three days straight trying to make this apartment home for now. I thought I would collapse, and that is just not like me at all. It is normal with the anesthesia getting completely out of your system, and using up all your stored hormones so that your ovaries are having to get back into the swing of things. And it takes energy to heal...just think of what you had taken out and what it looks like in there right now. Still doesn't make it easy, and you have alot of other things going on. Unfortunately, life doesn't stop so we can get better...so unfair! When you are so tired like that, it makes you emotional too because it doesn't feel like you can keep up. It is normal, but I am glad you have an appt. on Monday so you can make sure all is well, and if there is any infection, you can get started with something to make it better. You can count on my prayers---three-fold cause my kids will join me! If I can help in any way, I'm here. Keep venting! Lisa B.
