Hi Amy... I got this info through the mail but will include the website where I signed up for it. I was a bit surprised to receive it since I requested well before our move and had...of course...forgotten. There are several things they do via email also, and you can request info on a certain topic. The newsletter is through the mail and requires a donation, but I am going to fill it out and send it in. There is also a contact sheet to fill out with your experiences for use in networking and stories in the newsletters. I was surprised to read about the research concerning the endo producing its own type of estrogen and that a Dr. Bulun and his team successfully treated a case of recurrent endo with "aramatose inhibitors" which of course suppress the type of estrogen the endo produces. I am anxious to learn more. To learn more about this study there is a contact phone number: 1-800-239-7280 or their web site <A HREF="http://www.endocenter.org/">Endometriosis Research Center</A> . What is your doctor doing for the "cyst"? Is it very painful? I had never heard of that either. It will take several weeks to receive the info packet, but if you would like I can copy mine and send it to you...it is in the form of a newsletter and gives general info about what they are doing and recent endo studies, plus the contact sheet.
