Re: Endo - Lisa L.From: Allan (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jul 29 19:11:23 1999
I could REALLY use some!!! July 8th obgyn gave me "a small supply" (her words) of percacet. Yes, it helps to take the edge off the pain, works a tad better if I take two. But, still having pain every day and am sooo sick of it!! On Tues I called the obgyn's ofc and talked to her nurse - asked for some more drugs. She called back later and left me a message "did you forget you have an appt next thurs..". So, I call back and left a message saying YES I know I have an appt but I only have 6 left and its a long weekend and I DO NOT have enough to last me til next Thurs..... They didn't call back. I'm a tad annoyed and will be calling back again tomorrow. NOW I know how others here have felt when they say they feel like they're begging or being treating like a drug addict!!!! Last month, the obgyn said she didn't want to give me a hyst yet - so why make me beg for pain meds? She better watch out next Thurs, I might have to pull an Emer (lol). Anyway, now that I've babbled on and on and on which might be against the rules, I'm trying to figure out what other meds out there work with the pain so I can ask (nicely but firmly) for something that's gonna help, you know? luv and painfree wishes, Amy
