not that I like to bring bad news......but, here goes: The side effects of lupron may last for a lot longer than a couple months. My sister had lupron for fibroids; did nothing for that but she had horrible hot flashes for months and months....also, her eyesight deteriorated drastically and she needed to get bifocals - she was only 29 then. She then had a hyst..... I was very afraid of taking lupron, because of its side effects and cause what it did to my sister, but the docs told me there is no greater chance of me having these side effects just cause my sister did - I wasn't entirely convinced but went ahead with it anyway; had four shots and no more!!! luv and painfree wishes, Amy
