Dear Jasmin I'm sorry its taken me soooo long to respond. I'm WAY behind in mail, was out of town for several days, had company, been down in the dumps, etc etc etc. I hope things are going better for you; have your figured out what you want to do ? This endo stuff is just sooo miserable. I really feel for you; you've had to deal with so much. As for your questions; I don't know how long I've had endo. but I've had very painful and heavy periods for at least ten years. Went through three docs - two males who were completely unsympathetic and sloughed off my concerns, and a female who gave me anaprox which just made me sick. Finally last year got another female (first one moved) and she send me to an obgyn; lap in Feb confirmed endo.... have tried other antiinflammatories without any help, tylenol 3 and percacet (take the edge off but make me dopey). Had four shots of lupron but am NOT having anymore. It has not helped with the pain at all, and all I've gotten from it are all the negative side effects. Not sure what my next step is; when I saw the obgyn last month she said she didn't want to do a hyst yet and wanted to try danazol or depo. I don't think I want to do the danazol; already get enough hair on my chin I don't need more!!! :) I'm having a hard time convincing myself to continue to be a guinea pig, especially since both obgyn's (first one is on mat leave) kept telling me the lupron is the best thing for endo and adeno, when I kept telling them that it wasn't working; I'm having a hard time convincing myself to try something that they felt wouldn't be as effective, know what I mean? Plus, I seem to always get the bad side effects with everything. I just am sooo tired of being in pain all the time!!!! I'm sure you can relate to that!!!!!!! :) As for homeopathic approaches, my family doc does not support that - she says there is so much unknown about how our bodies interact with them; and, like I said, I react to soo much she's worried about that. I have a lot of allergies, had an allergic reaction to toradol, allergic to tonnes of foods and environmental stuff, etc. Sooooo, most of me is ready for a hysterectomy, cause it doesn't seem there are any really good options. I see the obgyn again next week, so I'll update you then. How about you? How is your body behaving? What do you see doing next? I'm sorry this is so long - blame it on pain meds :) luv and painfree wishes, Amy
