Re: hey all the Lupron expertsFor more information on symptoms and treatment of endometriosis visit www.EndometriosisZONE.org. From: Jennifer (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Jul 23 20:39:59 1999
I'm having some trouble out here in Idaho. So I'm on Lupron, the third shot coming on Wednesday. But, I'm also taking ortho-cyclen (BCP) which the gyn in Nebraska said was to help reduce the menopausey side effects of the shots. But I've been bleeding (one week after my period ended) for three days, and it keeps getting heavier and heavier. I'm soaking a pad every one and a half hours. And I'm in sooooo much pain. I'm taking vicodin, and it's not cooling things down. I'm really scared, I'm out in Idaho where here for the next two weeks, and my one gyn is in North Dakota (the other's in Nebraska), and he said he fears ectopic pregnancy or a cyst. I'm not so sure about the cyst thing, since I just had a lap in May and there wasn't one. I am scheduled for an ultrasound here on Monday. The gyn in North Dakota wants me home ASAP, but I can't drive that far taking all this pain medication by myself ... Any advice? What amount of bleeding is too much bleeding? Same with the pain. How much is too much? Thanks guys, Jen ID
