Re: Been away againFrom: Allan (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jul 22 15:44:07 1999
Dear Tina Thanks for sharing your very sad experience with me; I hope it didn't dredge up too many sad memories for you; I appreciate you sharing such a special and private part of your life. The frustration, and anger, are so great right now. And, of course, it reminds me of other people near and dear to me that I've lost. My aunt has gotten to look more and more like her mother the past few years, who I also was very close with. She died when I was 18; kidney failure after a routine cataract operation. My mom, my aunt and I, and a couple other relatives were with my grandma during her last two days; it was awful but also a very special and healing time - but I didn't realize it then, I was so overwhelmed with sadness and loss. I also feel sooo helpless, cause my mom is a wreck; she said she's not just losing her sister, she's losing her best friend. How do you help someone through something like this?! It all seems just so unfair.... I know you can definitely relate to that!!! like so many posts these days, your's brought tears to my eyes. I'm very sorry for your loss, Tina. Wouldn't it be nice if we never had to go through things like this? How are YOU doing? Recuperating and resting lots I hope! take care and painfree wishes to all, luv, Amy
