Cancer is just such an ugly horrible disease. My aunt's pain is being managed with lots of meds. She had a CAT scan done yesterday, and, it just baffles me, but they haven't found the primary site yet. My aunt has four boys, and always wanted a girl. She was pregnant at the same time that my mom was pregnant with me - with a girl. Short story, she hemmoraged badly and almost died; the baby was only 4 1/2 months; only lived about a day; the docs had told my uncle to choose between his wife or their daughter because they thought they might be able to save one but definitely not both. So, my aunt and I, and my sisters, have always had a very close and special relationship. It turns out that she had cervical cancer at the time, but she never told anyone up until a couple weeks ago, because she didn't want people to worry.... There I go, rambling again..
