Emer:

According to the "experts" it is flushes - but they are more like flashes with which

you flush. Oh well.

I agree with your mom. Don (my significant other) told me that sleeping next to me while on Lupron was like sleeping next to a warm wash cloth. If possible - sleep in the nude. It will help because you can throw off the covers and chill down quicker. I don't envy you for what you are about to undertake.... the list

of side effects for this drug is staggeringly long. Listen to your body very carefully

during this time. Pay attention to problems beyond the side effects. Any problems that don't mirror menopause should be immediately disclosed to your physician.

Thanks for the pretty e-mail!!! It's not snotty at all (I'm very disappointed in you,

young lady).

One Snotty e mail on the way! Thanks for the advice on the hot flushes( or is it flashes), My Mother has been going through the menopause also, but she seems to be doing ok with it, she just finds it hard to sleep, If this is all I get, it wouldn't be too bad, I can't sleep anyway!

But hey, If they are hot flashes, does that mean I get really hot, and then strip?,,,,lol!

Well less than 22 hours left in sanity(hehe,,,,if this is sane, God help everyone when I am insane)

Talk to you soon, All my best,

Emer
