Re: CancerFrom: Stephanie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Jul 19 11:18:42 1999
Hey Tina, Bless your heart...I'm sorry to hear of all you're going through. I have read something (I believe from the endometriosis association) about endo and cancer...though I have also read things saying there was no relation as well. I think the fact is, they need to do more research! But it does make sense logically that if we have a decreased immune system and thus get the endo, that we would get other things as well. I had pre-cancerous cervix (they removed a cone-shaped chunk) about 5 years ago...and when they found the cysts on my ovaries last year, I have to admit, it was quite nerve wracking. But I decided to do all I could naturally to build my immune system and if it was cancer I would allow them to cut it out. But the rest of my treatment would be to naturally build my body, not take chemo and radiation (which has been proven to cause cancer) and tear what little defenses my body had left down. I did find out about a new test that is extremely accurate for ANY cancer in the body during my research...it is called the AMAS test...I can look up the info if you want it (My computer dumped my bookmarks, so I'll have to refind it! :-) Anyway, your doctor may or may not know about it...it is very new...they send you the kit and then your doctor can send you to the lab to have it drawn. Good luck...I hope everything comes out negative. Love and Health, Stephanie
